Over the past few months, Microsoft has aggressively stepped up its campaign to get people to upgrade to Windows 10.
If you don’t want to be nagged to update, here’s how to stop the Windows 10 upgrade notifications.
- Right click on the empty space on your taskbar and click on Properties
- Click on Customize… button
- Locate GWX Get Windows 10 on the list and from the drop down menu on the right select Hide icon and notifications.
- Final step click on OK
Also check out Never10 a third-party tool built specifically to block Windows 10 from installing itself on your PC. The tool is free and doesn’t require installation.
