If you have an image and want to know its origin or find similar images you could use Google Images and perform a reverse image search.
Google’s reverse image search is a breeze on a desktop computer. Go to images.google.com, click the camera icon, and either paste in the URL for an image you’ve seen online or upload an image from your computer.
As it stands now Google’s ‘search by image’ feature is only available for desktop computers and not on mobile devices and tablets. However you could use Reverse Photos, an online tool that lets you perform reverse image searches on mobile phones.
Go to reverse.photos on your mobile phone, click the “Upload Image” button and choose an image from the photo gallery of your phone. Next click “Show Matching Images” and it will feed your photo into Google’s image database and show visually similar photos.
